TikTok has announced the launch of TikTok Avatars, a new feature that will enable users to create custom characters that they can attach to their profiles. Similar to SnapChat's BitMoji avatars, TikTok will allow creators to craft avatars that mimic their real-life appearance and style. The avatar creation tool will provide extensive customization options, delivering a range of accessories, hairstyles, makeup, and piercings choices.

What's more, TikTok has made it incredibly easy to build a custom avatar. All users have to do is open the app's effects section, select the 'Avatar' effect, and begin creating their character. In addition, the Avatars can be used to create actual TikTok content, as they are capable of mincing motions, gestures, and movements. Currently, TikTok is working with its own 'Creator Diversity Collective.'
