The White Arcade is a residential renovation by D'Ora Tokai Designs that transforms a Spanish-style villa in Dubai into a light-filled contemporary home. Designed for a family of five, the 7,265-square-foot residence reinterprets the property's original arches through a minimalist palette of warm whites, pale oak, natural stone and soft brass. Existing architectural details were preserved and refined, while new picture-frame moldings, herringbone oak flooring and custom furnishings establish a cohesive visual language throughout the interior.
At the centre of the home is a double-height courtyard with a glazed roof, where layered arches, mature trees and bespoke furniture create a calm gathering space filled with natural light. Nearly all major furnishings were designed by Tokai's DOT Objects brand, including sculptural seating and a white onyx dining table that reinforces the architectural concept.
