Stranger Than Heaven Features Snoop Dogg and Tupac Shakur Characters

— June 11, 2026 — Tech
Stranger Than Heaven is an upcoming crime drama from RGG Studio and Sega that expands the universe connected to the Yakuza and Like a Dragon series. Revealed during Summer Game Fest, the game will feature appearances by Snoop Dogg and Tupac Shakur. Snoop Dogg will appear as an in-game character while also contributing to the title’s musical identity. Tupac’s likeness has been recreated with the approval and supervision of his estate, using archival photographs and footage rather than artificial intelligence technologies.

Set across multiple decades and locations in Japan, the game explores the origins of the Tojo Clan through a story centered on crime, survival, music, and brotherhood. Within the narrative, Tupac portrays a character named Amaru, referencing both his middle name and the company that manages his estate. The cast also includes Tori Kelly alongside several Japanese actors.
