Grand Seiko SBGA527 is a Honolulu-Exclusive Limited Edition

— August 17, 2026 — Art & Design
The Grand Seiko SBGA527 is a 50-piece Spring Drive limited edition created exclusively for Ben Bridge's Honolulu boutiques. Inspired by the coastal connection between Shirarahama in Japan and Waikiki in Hawaii, the watch features a deep blue dial with diamond-cut hour markers and faceted hands that reflect changing light. Its 40mm case and integrated bracelet are crafted from High-Intensity Titanium, while distortion-free Zaratsu polishing highlights the surfaces. The design references the brand's 1967 62GS model and is protected by a box-shaped sapphire crystal.

The watch is powered by Grand Seiko's in-house Spring Drive Caliber 9R65 automatic movement, which delivers a 72-hour power reserve, water resistance to 100 metres and an average accuracy of ±15 seconds per month. The movement's continuously gliding seconds hand reflects the smooth operation of Spring Drive technology while complementing the ocean-inspired theme.
