Peerless-AV has released the SmartMount Universal Ultra-Slim Scissor Wall Mount (model STS680), a modular mounting system engineered for large-scale displays ranging from 49 to over 120 inches.
Peerless-AV's product is designed to facilitate both surface-mounted and recessed installations. The innovation features a patent-pending mechanism called Increlok Depth Adjustment that allows the distance between the screen and the wall to be modified from approximately 1.8 inches up to 7.8 inches to accommodate various equipment configurations behind the display. The design of the modular mounting system emphasizes a streamlined profile for a flush appearance while offering significant extension for maintenance access, and it is compatible with an ecosystem of optional accessories, including mounts for video conferencing bars, cameras, and integrated power management units from SurgeX.
