Hyundai recently spoke about the future of the automotive industry with a new concept dubbed 'metamobility.' Technology is ever-evolving and can take on anything from mundane tasks to vital operations in everyday life. It can be seen in Hyundai's Plug & Drive (PnD) modular platform that, according to the Reuters article, "combines intelligent steering, braking and suspension with in-wheel electric drive, cameras and lidar sensors for automated operation."
The concept of metamobility aims to further bridge the gap between humans and technology, ultimately improving quality of life. Imagine a car that doubles as a workspace or entertainment room, or a "smart" factory where robots and machines are controlled remotely.
