The Framed Moths presents three brick-built moth species displayed within individually designed frames inspired by natural history collections. The concept features the death's-head hawkmoth, Luna moth, and Glover's silkmoth, each paired with a distinctive frame that complements its appearance, from gothic-inspired detailing to ornate scrollwork and wood-grain styling. The approximately 2,200-piece build uses smooth, studless wing construction, while each display includes a specimen-style nameplate with the species' Latin name.
Each moth can be removed from its frame as a freestanding model complete with articulated legs, antennae, and sculpted body details. The display frames incorporate internal brackets and pins to support the wings at their intended angles while maintaining a slim profile.
