The 'Flipper Zero' is a new handheld multi-tool device from 'Flipper Devices Inc.' The device is positioned as an all-in-one, everyday carry device for hackers and the technologically-savvy alike. The Flipper Zero boasts a range of tools such as an NFC mimicker, a sub-1Ghz radio transceiver, a U2F security token mimicker, an RFID storage array, an iButton emulator and reader, and more.
Each of these tools are packed into a palm-sized white device with a monochrome orange screen. The 'Flipper' name is made playful by the digital dolphin that lives within the screen, similar to a Tamagotchi. This dolphin comments on what the user is doing while also helping the user along in some ways. By default, the Flipper Zero supports a few languages, such as Japanese, English, and Chinese, but it can be modified to support any language, as the device is fully open-source.
The Flipper Zero has already completed its crowdfunding stage, raising well over $4 million USD, but it is still available for purchase on Kickstarter, as it is in high demand.
