Hoomanely has launched 'EverBowl,' its feeding bowl that uses sensors to measure a dog's food and water intake, eating speed, chewing sounds, facial thermals, and oral motions. The AI platform builds a personalized health baseline for each dog and alerts owners via an app when changes from that baseline could signal illness, pain or dental disease.
The beta ran for 18 months and collected about 5 million data points from more than 80 dogs. The platform has already helped detect a chipped-tooth infection and a case of tick fever before symptoms became visible. EverBowl is currently available through a $29-per-month subscription, along with app-based long-term reports.
