Taco John’s just unveiled a new Fat Grilled Burrito that originated in an unexpected place.
Instead of being dreamed up by an executive chef, Taco John's newest creation was inspired by creator Nic Flood, better known as “The Fat Electrician." Flood recently released an enthusiastic review of Taco John’s on YouTube, which led the Taco John's culinary team to team up with the creator to create the Fat Grilled Burrito. The new loaded burrito combines grilled chicken, sirloin steak, Potato Olés, nacho cheese, a four-cheese blend, and Chipotle Ranch sauce into one tasty burrito. Plus, in honor of Flood's Army service as a Combat Medic, a portion of the proceeds from the sale of the Fat Grilled Burrito will go to a national charity that supports military members, veterans, first responders, and their families. As Brad Bergaus, Corporate Chef & Director of Menu Innovation at Taco John’s, explains, "This wasn’t a collaboration that was created because of a contract or a marketing plan, it started because Nic was a genuine fan who shared the story of Taco John’s with his community."
