The Dreame AeroFusion™ Air Fryer AF60 Has CrispVapor Technology

— May 13, 2026 — Tech
The Dreame AeroFusion™ Air Fryer AF60 was unveiled at the Dreame NEXT Event in the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco as the brand's newest cooking appliance that harnesses the power of steam for perfect dishes every time.

The air fryer utilizes the brand's CrispVapor technology that's rated to pump out superheated steam to cook food fast and effectively without having to worry about it getting soggy. This is thanks to the steam's dry profile that will also help to keep the interior of foods tender and moist.

The Dreame AeroFusion™ Air Fryer AF60 also features an infrared stainless steel element in the top alongside radiant heat and a PTC ceramic element. The air fryer is slated to hit the US market this June before launching globally.

Trend Themes

  1. Superheated-steam Cooking — The emergence of superheated steam in countertop appliances enables precise rapid cooking that preserves moisture while delivering crisp exteriors, opening pathways for novel appliance form factors and cooking protocols.
  2. Hybrid Heating Elements — Combining infrared, radiant and PTC ceramic elements with steam introduces multi-modal thermal profiles that can be tuned for ingredient-specific textures and energy-efficient cycles.
  3. Moisture-controlled Texture Engineering — Advances in controlling steam dryness and internal food humidity permit predictable Maillard reactions and crumb structures, creating opportunities for tailored recipe libraries and sensor-driven texture presets.

Industry Implications

  1. Home Appliances — Smart, compact steam-air fryers redefine expectations for kitchen versatility and could disrupt product segmentation by merging convection, steam, and infrared capabilities into single premium units.
  2. Foodservice and Catering — Restaurants and catering operations stand to benefit from rapid, large-batch steam-assisted browning that maintains interior moisture, enabling consistent plated textures and reduced food waste.
  3. Consumer Electronics — Integration of advanced thermal components and sensors in consumer cooking devices suggests new value chains for software-enabled appliance features and connected culinary ecosystems.
