A growing number of climate-friendly snack brands are helping to support more sustainable eating habits and Nemi Holisticks includes itself in this space by creating cactus snacks. Powered by drought-resistant nopal and amaranth seeds, the nourishing and crunchy snacks celebrate ingredients that are essential to Mexican cuisine. Founder Regina Trillo says, "I decided to bring un poquito de México with me by combining two of my favorite Mexican superfoods into one real, simple, crunchy and delicious snack."

While the brand gets its cactus from an independent organic farm in Aguascalientes, Mexico, this ingredient is harvested, naturally sun-dried and turned into a powder before being combined with a superfood blend of amaranth, pea protein and flax oil. The texture-rich cactus snacks can be found in five unique flavors and there's something for everyone with options like smokey chipotle, spirulina lime, chilli turmeric, choco-spice and churro.
