Cadillac announced that it has began consumer production of its upcoming '2023 Lyriq.' The first set of Lyriq vehicles being produced is a special edition 'Lyriq Debut Edition' model, which is already entirely sold out. The 2023 Lyriq is the first fully electric SUV from Cadillac, meaning this launch is a landmark moment for the automaker as it progresses towards EVs.
With Cadillac officially launching its 2023 Lyriq and preorders for the regular model of the vehicle beginning on May 19th, the automaker has also announced multiple upcoming electric vehicles are in the works. For example, Cadillac is working on the high-end 'Celestiq' sedan, as well as electric versions of its iconic cars and an addition electric SUV that is larger than the Lyriq.
