The ROM Offers Future Festival Attendees Reduced Entry Fees
Riley von Niessen — September 5, 2018 — Art & Design
Toronto’s Royal Ontario Museum, often referred to as the ROM, will offer 20% off its admission fee to Future Festival World Summit attendees who use the code FUTUREFEST when buying tickets through its website, www.rom.on.ca. Being Canada’s largest museum, and also one of the largest in North America, the ROM plays host to a vast variety of artworks from different cultures, with a number of cultural exhibits, in addition to those that explore natural history.
For a limited time, the ROM will host installations such as ‘Philip Beesley: Transforming Space,’ which explores futuristic architecture, with a focus on AI, chemistry, and soundscapes. In addition, those with an interest in fashion and unique material composition should make sure to stop by the ‘Iris van Herpen: Transforming Fashion’ installation, where an impressive range of apparel and footwear merges design, technology and art for a seemingly impossible result. More recently, the ROM opened the ‘Spiders: Fear & Fascination’ installation, which explores arachnids with AR and immersive experiences.
